바르셀로나에는 총 3개의 기숙사 IB 학교가 있다. 그 중에서 가장 높은 성적과 시티와의 근접성 모두를 갖춘 곳! 학교에는 학생 전용 상점이 준비되어 있어 유니폼부터, 각종 액티비티 준비물, 필기구 등을 구매할 수 있다.

7800평대의 큰 부지 만큼이나, 학교에는 넓은 잔디 축구장 1개와 배구 코트, 농구 코트 등 다양한 스포츠 시설을 갖추고 있으며, 유아 및 초등부를 위한 놀이터도 가지고 있다. 바다가 보이는 원형극장도 준비 되어 있다. 

전세계 IB 평균 점수 31.98에 비해 Hamelin-laie는 32.5로 보다 높은 성적과, 98%의 전교생이 Pass하고 있다. 이 중 응시 7%학생이 45점 만점에 40점 이상을 받고 있음.

학생 태도를 볼 수 있는 Tutor Report, 최근 성적표, Motivation letter(자기소개서), Oral과 Written 평가가 포함된 공인 영어 성적표(IELTS 혹은 TOEFL 등) 

지원 접수 완료 후, 학교와 인터뷰 진행 

• Form tutor’s report: This report should provide details about the student’s academics as well as their general behaviour and attitude as a student.
• Latest trimester marks and their final marks from the previous academic year.
• Motivation letter: The student should submit a motivation letter which establishes their motives for studying in our school. In this letter, the student should state their study habits, level of autonomy, extracurricular activities, participation in competitions, volunteer campaigns, or any other relevant item.
• English certification (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL) corresponding to the student’s level or pass internal English level exam: This oral and written exam is used to evaluate the student’s general English level.
• Personal interview: Consists of a conversation between the student and the Academic Director.

After School programme(유상)

Music: Hamelin-Laie에는 빅밴드를 가지고 있을 만큼 음악 활동에 관심과 지원을 아끼지 않는 학교다. 이외에 악기 개인 수업(유료)도 가능하다.

Language School: 독일어, 중국어, 이탈리아어, 프랑스어 (레벨별 운영)

Football, Roller Skating, Swimming 등 스포츠 반 가입은 별도 문의 필요.

특별활동

축구, 롤러스케이팅, 음악활동, 수영을 포함하여 여러 액티비티들이 제공되고 있다. 이는 IB 평가 요소 중 하나인 Creativity, activity and service (CAS)를 유지하기 위함이기도 하다. IB Diploma를 완성하기 위해서도 반드시 참여해야 한다. 학생들에게 활동 참여를 통해 자신감을 고취시키고 교유들과 협력하는 방법을 익히고, 성취감과 즐거움을 키워주고 있다.

Creativity, activity and service (CAS) is one of the three essential elements that every student must complete as part of the IB Diploma, but it has been extended to other areas of the school curriculum at Hamelin-laie.

CAS enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experience. It provides opportunities for self-determination and collaboration with others, fostering a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment from their work

유럽 내에서 가장 맛을 중요하게 여기는 나라 답게, 학교에서도 학생들에게 제공하는 식사에 대해 매우 관심을 쏟고 있다. 모든 식사는 신선한 재료를 바탕으로 전임 쉐프가 조리하여 학교 내 다이닝 홀에서 배식된다. 기숙 학생들은 매일 3식을 제공받고 있다. 

All meals are freshly prepared by our chef and served in our school dining hall. With an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce, our chef uses local products and Mediterranean recipes so that you can enjoy the rich gastronomy of Spain.

위치
