Leeds International Study Centre
Leeds International Study Centre는 영국에 오는 국제 학생들이 대학입학 준비를 도와주고 있는데 University of Leeds를 목표 하는 학생들을 위한 센터이다. Leeds International Study Centre에서 파운데이션 과정을 이수하면 University of Leeds의 다양한 학사과정으로 진학할 수 있다. 학사 1학년에 준하는 International Year One 과정도 제공하고 있다.

History
리즈 대학교 대학 연합체인 맨체스터 빅토리아 대학교의 일부를 이루다가 1904년 에드워드 7세의 설립인가를 받고 독립한 대학이다. 전신은 1831년 설립된 리즈 의학교와 1874년 설립된 요크셔 과학대학이다.
Location
영국에서 세번째로 큰 도시이다. 요크에서 기차로 25분, 런던에서 기차로 2시간 15분, 에딘버러에서 3시간이 걸리는 영국 중간지점에 위치하고 있다. 또한 근처에 Leeds-Bradford 공항(기차로 30분) 과 Manchester 공항(기차로 1시간 30분) 이 있어 교통이 편리한 곳에 위치하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

Leeds 는 퍼포먼스 아트의 평판이 뛰어나고, 영국에서 오직 두 도시밖에 없는 독자적인 오페라와 발레 회사를 지니고 있는 도시 중 하나이다. 또한 Grand theatre를 포함하여 여러개의 극장과 많은 갤러리와 박물관도 있다. 문화생활과 더불어 leeds는 쇼핑의 도시 중 한 곳으로써 1000개 넘는 shops이 있다.
