Simon Fraser University
캐나다 서부 BC주 버나비에 메인 캠퍼스를 두고 써리와 벤쿠버 다운타운에 MBA와 어학센터를 두고 있는 실무 중심 대학교이다. 1965년 설립된 젊은 학교이지만 최근 높은 인지도와 활발한 Co-op프로그램을 기반으로 같은지역 UBC와 견줄정도의 높은 입학요건이 요구 되는 명문 주립 대학교 중 하나이다. 특히 비즈니스 스쿨과 IT 관련 분야로 높은 성과를 보이고 있다. 미국의 리버럴 아츠 컬리지를 롤모델로 학교가 운영되며 학생들에게 주 전공과 함께 복수전공 또는 부전공을 권장하고 있으며 학과를 변경할 수 있는 다양한 제도가 있다. 학과목 자체도 전통적인 과정보다는 여러과목이 융합된 실용적인 학문의 전공들이 많다.
Fraser International College (FIC)
FIC는 SFU의 부속기관으로 메인캠퍼스인 버나비 캠퍼스에 위치해 단독건물로 위치해 있다.UTP 2 대학교 1학년 과정은 현지 교수진이 직접 동일하게 강의를 하고 있으며 학점은 더 높게 받을 수 있어 캐나다 대학교 생활을 잘 적응할 수 있게 한다. 2006년부터 꾸준히 좋은 성적으로 대부분의 학생들을 진급 시키고 있다. 대부분의 학생들이 2학년으로 진급하며 FIC 학생들과 같이 올라가 팀과제 할 때 서로 도움을 주며 빠르게 대학교 생활을 하고 있다.
